In the first half of her term as Secretary of State, Beth Chapman accomplished more than most people in their full four year term. The following list highlights some of the many contributions she has made to state government:

  • Conducted the largest Presidential Election in Alabama’s history
  • Worked hard to stop voter fraud, establishing the state’s first Voter Fraud Unit
  • Ensured the most fair and honest elections in Alabama’s history
  • Remained within the confines of the agency’s budget despite huge cuts
  • Stood up for the rights of our military to have a more accessible means to vote
  • Organized and chaired the state’s first Military and Overseas Voting Task Force and Symposium
  • Established a Citizen-Business Task force which proposed legislation which was successfully passed
  • Brought the state’s Business Division into the 21st Century by implementing advanced technology

For all these reasons and many more, we need to REELECT Alabama’s 51st Secretary of State as our 52nd Secretary of State as well in 2010.
